Boating enthusiasts keen to be ahead of the fleet with the latest vessels will no doubt be interested in a number of exciting new boats coming onto the Australian market. While well-known manufacturers and brands regularly release new models to their range, there are a number of new concept-style watercraft from international brands attracting a lot attention.
Dutch yacht brand Saffier will debut at the Sanctuary Cove show, the next shipment of the exciting Awake jetboards is due in late February, and Fountaine Pajot has launched a new catamaran. We cover off on these latest arrivals with specifics on financing available for prospective buyers.
New Boats from Saffier for Sanctuary Cove Debut
Carbon Yachts is the Australian dealer for Saffier Yachts and the people to speak to about the new eco-conscious, day sailing boat which hails from Denmark. The Saffier 24 Lite was awarded the European Yacht of Year gong and is set to be showcased to the local market at the Sanctuary Cove Show in May.
The manufacturer describes this craft as ‘driven by nature’ with complete self-sufficiency when under both motor and under sail. Solar panels are integrated into the foredeck to provide power to the electric drive system.
Mary Bickley, Carbon Yachts’ Sales Manager said that the SE 24 Lite makes a statement about sailing’s future with its eco features and self-sufficiency. An ideal craft for the growing interest in day sailing. The sail boat has a sleek design, cutting-edge tech, and options for buyers to customise with vibrant colour choices.
While the debut will be in May, the first Lite into Australia has apparently been delivered to a Victorian buyer. To add your name to a pre-order list, speak with us about securing your finance.
New Electric Jetboards and Efoils
Carbon Yachts are also the people to speak to about the high-performance Awake collection of Jetboards and eFoils. But buyers will need to be fast. The first shipment into Australia sold out and the next shipment is due soon.
These electric watercraft are designed in Scandinavia and built in Europe and are marketed as not only high-performance thrill machines but a lower maintenance option to many other types of PWCs. The original concept of a surfboard with a motor, dates to the 1930s, was commercialised further in the 1960s but development was hampered by the lack of tech of the time. A situation resolved with the latest hydrofoil technology.
Awake watercraft do not need to be refuelled and need only minimal maintenance with their plug-and-play operation. The latest release from the brand is the Ravik Explore which is seen as an entry point to electric jetboarding. This model is making the jet board experience more access to more people.
Another option from Carbon Yachts are Vinga eFoils with their hydrofoil technology and offer loads of fun on the water in a very different experience. Those interested in getting into foiling or jetboarding can review the options at Carbon Yachts and speak with us about financing options to order for the February shipment.
New Catamaran from Fountaine Pajot
For sailing enthusiasts seeking an idyllic lifestyle on the water, consider the new 44 model catamaran from Fountaine Pajot, available in Australia through The Yachts Sales Company. This 13.26m yacht has a 7.44m beam, draws 1.38m draft and is available with either three or four cabins.
Another eco-conscious vessel, this catamaran has an electric drivetrain powered by solar panels. With plenty of space and style as well as performance features, the new Fountaine Pajot 44 is surely worth considering.
Financing New Boats – Power, Sail, PWCs
New boats are typically financed with secured loans using the vessel as collateral, with fixed interest rates, over fixed terms and fixed repayments available. With collateral secured, this credit product can attract the best rates from lenders and often higher borrowing limits. Borrowing more of the purchase price, enabling buyers to minimise deposits. An option which may be attractive to many buyers.
Our secured finance products are suitable for power and sail boats and a wide range of personal watercraft. Rates and loan offers are individually sourced from our extensive lender market to best meet the expectations and preferences of buyers, subject to individual application details.
The fixed rates provide not only a fixed monthly repayment schedule, but the assurance that the repayments will not change over the fixed term, even if the lender raises their secured boat loan interest rates. Marine insurance is required on all goods under finance.
Buyers looking to pre-order to be in first for upcoming shipments of Awake boats and to order their Saffier at the Sanctuary Cove show can apply for pre-approved finance. The application is processed to conditional approval stage, providing buyers with details of their repayments and confidence to proceed with their order.
