Pre-Show Announcements for Sanctuary Cove Boat Show

The iconic Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show may be still 3 months away, but organisers are already releasing news of what visitors can expect. That could be a heads-up for those intending to attend this year’s event to get started with planning their trip. For visitors to the 2023 Sanctuary Cove Boat Show planning to order a new boat at the event, planning can include talking to Jade Boat Loans about finance.

Many boat builders and manufacturers optimise the opportunities at this event each year to launch new models. Event organisers already report that Horizon will launch its new V74 model at the show. Buyers have the ideal chance to step aboard many different makes and models at the show to make their buying selection. Having the marine finance already sorted beforehand, can make the ordering process more streamlined and shorten the delivery time.

The Sanctuary Cove Boat Show will be held at Queensland’s Sanctuary Cove from 25 to 28 May 2023. So what can visitors expect? We report on the latest announcements from the event organisers.

Huge Response from Exhibitors

Organisers report a fantastic response as soon as the applications for exhibitors was opened late last year. Some of the brands already confirmed include Horizon Yachts, Maritimo, Axopar, Grand Banks, Ocean Alexander, Riviera, Palm Beach and Multihull Solutions.

Trailer boat buyers and water sports enthusiasts will be well catered for with Suzuki, Yamaha, JSW Powersports, QMC and many other brands already booking their exhibition space. This is a great event to also check out the latest in marine tech innovations. Displaying their latest gadgets and gear will reportedly be Garmin, Raymarine, Akzonobel amongst many others.

The GM of the event organising company, Mulpha Events, Mr Johan Hasser, said that more marina berths and upgrades to venues are happening for the 2023 event as the organisers continue to invest in the event.

Some of the new boats expected are the 370 Sundancer from Sea Ray, a new Boston Whaler, a range of Jeanneau yachts and new Stabicrafts.

Marine E-Tech to be Displayed

Visitors to the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show will have the opportunity to see the latest innovations in e-technology for the marine sector. This includes showcasing alternative-powered craft and products. Organisers report that the market for electric boats globally continues to grow.

Based on this interest, organisers will be celebrating those brands that are making investments in these alternative power sources. Visitors can expect electric marine engines, electric and hybrid yachts and cutting edge technologies.

Eyachts is just one of the exhibitors that will be showcasing its sustainable portfolio of yachts – hybrid and electric. Models will include the RAND collection which are luxury boats which have either 100% electric or other propulsion systems. The designs deliver performance with low fuel or electricity usage and have recycled and bio-based materials involved in the build as major environmental considerations.

Multihull Solutions will also be showcasing alternate powered models, many fitted with solar panels. While ePropulsion will be there with its leading collection of electric outboards. These range from 10kw to 100kw.

The Sanctuary Cove Boat Show is definitely shaping up as another must-attend for boating enthusiasts and especially new boat buyers. Especially those looking to embrace these new technologies to contribute to the environment. There is nothing more valuable than being able to speak directly to the product representatives and have everything explained, first-hand, on the spot.

Planning the Visit

The Sanctuary Cove Resort is sure to book out early but extensive accommodation options are available on the Gold Coast with organisers offering a range of options for getting to the show. Visitors can drive and park at the various site options, travel by ferry, public bus or in luxury by helicopter.

Tickets are not available for sale just yet, but those interested can subscribe for updates and be first-in when they are available in March. Consider the VIP Pass for a truly luxury experience.

Pre-Planning Marine Finance

Buyers with intentions to order a new boat at the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show can speak with us well ahead of the event about the options. The Secured Boat Loan will suit most buyers for cruisers and yachts including alternative power models.

While the format and features of this type of loan will remain constant, there is a strong possibility that the boating loan interest rates will change over the next few months. This is based both on recent statements from the RBA Board and remarks from RBA Governor Lowe at recent Government committee hearings.

Buyers are welcome to speak with us about getting pre-approved so they know how much they would be approved for as their loan amount. This can be extremely helpful when making boat choices. Closer to the date, a pre-approved offer can be arranged so buyers have confirmation and confidence to proceed.
